Liability & Physical Damage Coverage
Liability coverages include coverage for damaged property, personal injury, advertising injury and damage to someone’s reputation. Physical Damage Insurance covers your truck if it is damaged. It consists of two different parts, Collision and Comprehensive.
- Collision - This part of the coverage pays for damage to your truck when it collides with another vehicle or object.
- Comprehensive - This pays for almost every other peril your truck might face such as vandalism, fire and theft.
Cargo including Reefer Breakdown
Truckers who haul refrigerated freight need Reefer Breakdown or coverage that protects against spoiled refrigerated cargo due to a breakdown in the refrigeration unit. This could be because of a mechanical breakdown or because of an accident that causes the reefer unit to fail.
Single Unit to Large Fleets
Truck insurance rating can vary depending on the size of your fleet. For larger fleets we offer composite rating where the insurance company will develop a rate for the liability and physical damage coverages.
Umbrella Liability
An Umbrella policy offers extra liability coverage should your claims surpass your primary policy’s limits. Also, depending on the commodity you’re hauling you may be required to carry increased limits. We have access to several excess markets so we’re able to get you the coverage that will fit your business’ needs.
Work Comp & Occupational Accident
INSPRO is here to help you get the coverage you need to protect your employees should they be injured on the job. We have several Work Comp markets available for motor carriers both large and small, as well as Occupational Accident options for independent contractors.
Pollution Liability
The MCS90 endorsement requires that liability coverage apply to environmental restoration as well as bodily injury and property damage. The requirement is meant to restore the “environment” after the result of an auto accident that includes accidental release of a commodity or product transported by a motor carrier. The Broadened Pollution Liability (CA9948) form will respond in a similar fashion to the MCS90 but the policyholder will not receive a bill for the remediation costs upon completion.
Non-Trucking/Bobtail Liability
When you’re an owner-operator you need coverage beyond what your motor carrier provides. You need liability coverage and may also need physical damage coverage on your equipment, for those times when you use your truck for non-business purposes. You can count on us to help you get the coverage you need, when you need it.
Local Radius to Long Haul
Whether you are hauling 15 miles away or 1,500 miles away, INSPRO is here to help protect your business through our access to numerous trucking carriers.
Contingent Cargo & Auto
Contingent Cargo and Contingent Auto Liability protect truck brokers should one of their contracted truckers have a coverage issue. INSPRO understands your brokerage’s needs and is here to help you obtain the coverage you need.
